Invited Speaker Dr. Tracie Addy Presents: ‘A Time for Reflection: Next Steps Towards Inclusive Instruction’ (online)

May 10, 2022 @ 12:00 pm - 1:30 pm

During this interactive session we will consider participants’ teaching and learning experiences during the past academic year and their future steps towards inclusive instruction. We will discuss:

  • Who are the learners at the University of Maine?
  • Which instructional mindsets can help foster more equitable and welcoming classrooms?
  • Which teaching practices can have a positive impact in transforming learning environments at the university?
  • What can change look like at the department level?
  • What commitments can be made to advance inclusivity goals in the coming year?

Following this 60 minute session there will be a 30-minute Q&A to provide an opportunity for informal conversations to occur with the speaker.

This virtual presentation is open to any interested members of the University of Maine System.
