Human Dimensions of Film Series

March 5 @ 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm

FILM TWO: Please join us for a screening of Chasing Carbon Zero. The changing climate might be one of the biggest and most important challenges humanity has ever faced — but can we stop it before it’s too late? “Chasing Carbon Zero” examines the science behind the technology that could help us achieve net zero in the next thirty years. The film features UMaine’s very own Habib Dager, Executive Director of the UMaine Advanced Structures and Composites Center (ASCC). Post screening discussion with Dr. Jonathan Rubin – UMaine Professor of Economics and Director of the Margaret Chase Smith Policy Center.
