Homecoming 2021

Join UMaine alumni and friends for a weekend of fun and excitement. Register before October 11 to receive a free Homecoming hat.

8.30 a.m. Donuts and Coffee with the College of Engineering
Alumni, students and families are invited to drop by the Advanced Manufacturing Center to visit with faculty and staff from the College of Engineering and have coffee and donuts. Faculty and staff from the College of Engineering will be at the AMC to answer any questions. In addition to coffee and donuts, you will have the opportunity to tour this amazing facility.

Alumni, students and families are invited to drop by to visit with faculty and staff from the College of Education and Human Development and have coffee and donuts before heading to the tailgate or the game. Lengyel Hall will have faculty and staff from the School of Kinesiology, Physical Education and Athletic Training. In addition to coffee and donuts, prizes and other swag will be handed out and alumni will have the opportunity to tour classrooms and facilities.

Alumni, students and families are invited to drop by Merrill Hall to visit with faculty and staff from the College of Education and Human Development and have coffee and donuts before heading to the tailgate or the game. In addition to coffee and donuts, prizes and other swag will be handed out and alumni will have the opportunity to tour classrooms and facilities.

9 a.m. M Club Tailgating
M Club will honor Silver and Gold Recipients as well as induct new Honorary Members at the tailgate. Join us starting at 9 a.m. We will recognize our honorees at 11 a.m.

9 a.m. Bear Necessities Fan Shop Photo Area
Come show your Black Bear spirit, have fun and get game day ready. Bear Necessities will host a photo area event on Saturday from 9–noon where folks can have a free photo taken and purchase limited edition gifts produced on campus for pickup at a later date or shipped with those images. The store will be open until one hour after the football game ends.
A gallery of the photos will be posted onto the Bear Necessities Facebook page. Gift options include: 5×7″ or 8×10″ print with the homecoming logo and a sports background, 11 ounce ceramic coffee mug, 28 ounce ceramic stein. These will all sport the 2021 logo along with the photo taken on-site.

9 a.m. College of Education and Human Development for an Alumni Mountain Bike Ride
Join lecturer in outdoor leadership Lauren Jacobs from the College of Education and Human Development for an easy mountain bike ride from Lengyel Hall to the University Trails behind the New Balance Student Recreation Center. There will be 15 bikes available for people to borrow (first come, first served), but you can also bring your own. This event is weather permitting.
