Veterans face unique challenges as they navigate the world after military service—As part of our BYOB Hackathon, students will learn from experts’ experiences related to veteran lifestyle/reality, research a challenge, and develop strategies to present a solution. Team collaboration will be used to problem-solve educational resources and new technologies. Our expert panelists, including military Veterans, family members of Veterans, and higher education professionals, will share their perspectives on working with the veteran demographic and how to approach problem-solving with STEM technologies. Problem-solving students from all majors are welcome to attend! Our expert panel of veterans, higher education professionals, and innovation coaches will be available to coach participants throughout this session.
