Harrison has a Bachelor’s Degree in Molecular Genetics from the University of Wales and a Ph.D. in Molecular Biology from the University of Edinburgh in Scotland. He received postdoctoral training in Neuroscience and Bioinformatics with Jeff Petruska and Eric Rouchka at the Kentucky Spinal Cord Injury Research Center, University of Louisville.
