This hybrid/blended Summer University course, taught by Dr. William "Wge" Ellis, meets twice a week for 6 weeks. Tuesday classes meet in person at the UMaine Hutchinson Center in Belfast and Thurs. classes are online/synchronous. Basic concepts in physical, geological, chemical and biological oceanography will be discussed. Also includes an introduction to the relationship between the ocean and the atmosphere.
