Join us for a presentation on current work being done at UMaine Machias, to prepare a gallery presentation of addressed envelope artifacts, drawings, and weaving a story from local (Whitneyville, Attusville, Machias, and East Machias) family connections. What began as a primary source lesson, for book arts’ students, opened up several research topic area exploration pathways- Civil War communications, the Underground Railroad, and more.
