For their next colloquium on December 7, the Department of Mathematics and Statistics will feature assistant professor Brandon Hanson, who will deliver a talk on “The Unreasonable Effectiveness of Polynomials in the Mathematical Sciences.” .The talk will take place from 3–4:15 p.m.in Room 101 of Neville Hall.
