A conversation with Kichwa scholars and community leaders, Pascual Yepez and Cecilia Naula, from the Andes region of Ecuador. Our guests will share key themes from the Ancestral Knowledges and Sciences program at the ILADES Institute (Instituto Tecnológico Superior de Estudios Sociales “Los Andes”) in Quito. We aim to build a bridge across the Americas to bring their traditional knowledge to the UMaine community. This event is supported in part by the Department of Anthropology and a grant from the Cultural Affairs/Distinguished Lecture Series Fund.
