The History Department’s 2022–23 symposium series will hold its next meeting on Feb. 27 at 3:15 p.m. in Hill Auditorium, located in Barrows Hall.
Dr. Cody Miller of Appalachian State University will be delivering a talk titled “Soil as Archive: Agroecological History, Soil Conservation, and Place-Based Pedagogy in Appalachia.” This talk is the 2022 Babcock Lecture which welcomes back a graduate of the Department of History.
