Each day, for five days, participants in the Challenge will receive an email with brief tasks designed to learn, listen, share, and take action around topics related to sexual orientation, gender identity, intersectionality, and LGBTQ+ affirming class curricula.
We encourage everyone who’s interested in the materials to sign up — even if you won’t have time to complete the tasks during the Challenge week.
This program was designed by Tausif Sanzum Karim, a master’s student in Communication and Journalism, Liliana Herakova, assistant professor in Communication and Journalism, Jen Bonnet, Social Sciences and Humanities Librarian, and Nancy Lewis, Head of Reference and Information Literacy, all at the University of Maine.
