Professor of Family Relations and Human Sexuality Sandra Caron will be hosting LGBTQ+ diversity trainer Brian McNaught in her CHF 351: Human Sexuality class on Tuesday, April 5 at 12:30 p.m. The talk will take place in person at 100 DP Corbett and will also be available on Zoom: https://maine.zoom.us/j/4203418731.
Named “the godfather of gay diversity training” by The New York Times, McNaught is considered one of the world’s leading corporate diversity consultants dealing with lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer issues in the workplace. Since 1974, Brian has drawn on his personal experiences, and his skills as a sexuality educator, to help audiences understand what it’s like to grow up gay, and to deal with the common, daily challenges faced by LGBTQ people at work, at home, in their churches, and in their neighborhoods around the world. He has authored 13 books and addressed hundreds of professional and university audiences throughout North America, Europe, Australia and Asia.
