UMaine President Joan Ferrini-Mundy will offer opening remarks when the UMaine Institute of Medicine brings together a panel of leaders from the state, including the healthcare community, to discuss rural health in Maine. Moderated by Dr. Kelley Strout, Director of the UMaine School of Nursing, panelists will include Jessica Taylor, RN, BSN, CCCTM (St. Joseph Healthcare), James W. Jarvis, MD, FAAFP (Eastern Maine Medical Center, Northern Light Health), Lenard W. Kaye, D.S.W., Ph.D. (UMaine Center on Aging), Jordan Porter, DNP, APRN, FNP-BC (Down East Community Hospital Family Practice), Erika Ziller, Ph.D. (University of Southern Maine), and Shannon Gauvin, DHA, MSN, RN, AHN-BC (University of Maine at Augusta).
