“When the eagle of the North and the condor of the South fly together, the spirit of the land will reawaken.” In this film, we see four indigenous environmental leaders help bring this prophecy to life, working to reduce the impacts of oil and gas production across great distances, from the tar sands of Alberta, Canada, to toxic emissions in a Texas town, to the Amazonian jungles of Ecuador. By sharing traditional wisdom and conviction, these leaders offer hope to communities well outside their own domain.
