UMaine’s current gen ed curriculum is complex (over 800 courses) and has not been significantly revised in over 25 years. Using the input we gathered through our recent gen ed survey, we would like to propose a revised curriculum that expresses a clear vision for all of our students and is easily understood and articulated by instructors, advisors, alumni and students alike.
As part of this process, the Gen Ed Revision Committee will be holding two open forums to garner campus input on a variety of gen ed models. Please join us so we can capture your thoughts on the different options.
