Fall Gardening Webinar Series: Growing Great Garlic

This webinar will cover the essentials of growing your own garlic, from planting and care to harvest and storage. Participants will also learn how to identify and address common issues that may arise during the growing season. Perfect for gardeners of all levels.

Speaker: Peyton Ginakes

Bio:

Peyton is a Fruit and Vegetable Researcher in Cooperative Extension based at the University’s research station, Highmoor Farm, in Monmouth, ME. She evaluates growing practices across a wide range of crops to create resources that make farming easier, more sustainable, and more profitable. Her ongoing garlic program informs farmers and home gardeners about best practices for growing a great garlic crop with a focus on pest and disease management.

Registration is required with a sliding scale program fee for each webinar. Participants will receive the Zoom information after registering for a webinar.

All sessions will be recorded unless otherwise noted, and shared with participants in about a week following the event. If you are unable to attend the live session, but would like to receive the recording and a resource list, please register.
