University of Maine Cooperative Extension will host “Exploring the Herb Garden at Tidewater Farm” from 4:30–6 p.m. on Thursday, September 18 at the UMaine Gardens at Tidewater Farm, 200 Presumpscot Point Rd, Falmouth.
Members of the herb garden team at Tidewater Farm will provide guided tours of the garden, explaining how to organize, plant, and maintain herb beds. Attendees will also learn how to make a soothing calendula salve, complete with a sample to take home. Snacks and herbal tea will be provided during a question and answer session about growing and using herbs.
