The Intermedia Program Visiting Artist Series will open the fall semester with The Kneeling Art Photography Project. The project is a statewide exploration of social justice through photography, and community action. Eleven photographers from across Maine have captured images of Mainers who work to secure justice at the local, national and international levels. Over 100 members of the community have taken part in the project, and their images and personal statements are currently on exhibit at the IMRC Center.
The exhibit is open weekdays, 9 a.m.–4 p.m. through September with a diverse group of photographers, musical performances and guided tours of the project available.
