Canning and Preserving Strawberry Jam in Arundel

University of Maine Cooperative Extension will offer a workshop about canning and preserving strawberry jam on Wednesday, July 2, 2025, from 5:30–8:00 p.m. at the Frinklepod Farm, 244 Log Cabin Road, Arundel

Participants will learn how to prepare and preserve strawberry jam, including methods for using less sugar. The instructor will teach safe preservation techniques for strawberries using both the boiling water bath canning method and freezing. Participants will receive recipes and a jar of homemade jam. Please bring a potholder with you to class.
