4-H Youth Development Program in Androscoggin and Sagadahoc counties, a part of University of Maine Cooperative Extension, will offer two, 4-week Family STEM Club sessions this fall at the UMaine Extension office, 24 Main Street in Lisbon Falls.
Families will engage in hands-on STEM projects together, with opportunities for adults to lead the activities with support from 4-H staff. Adults interested in learning how 4-H clubs operate and youth interested in joining 4-H are encouraged to attend.
Series 1 will be offered on Thursdays, September 18 through October 9. Series 2 will be offered on Thursdays, October 30 through November 20. All sessions will meet from 4 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. Youth must be ages 5 to 11 and a resident of Androscoggin or Sagadahoc County to participate.
Participation is free however space is limited. Register on the program webpage by Thursday, September 11 for Series 1 and Thursday, October 23 for Series 2.
