| Join UMaine CORE in celebrating the student research efforts of our campus for Maine IMPACT Week. Students were invited to visit the Electron Microscopy Lab to take detailed images of a sample from their research. Their best images will be printed and displayed in the IMRC Center’s Fernald Adaptive Presentation and Performance Environment, where winners of the contest will be announced. Judges from the UMaine community and beyond will assess the images for composition, originality, and impact, identifying those that are both compelling art in their own right as well as items that help to better communicate critical understandings about the research subject.
Free and open to the public. Light refreshments provided. Awards recognition begins at 6 pm. |
