The School of Performing Arts is co-hosting a 24-Hour New Play Festival in Minsky Recital Hall on March 17 and 18 alongside area theatre company Ten Bucks Theatre.
Hours are subject to adjustment, but estimated times are 6–9.30 p.m. Friday and 10 a.m.–9 p.m. Saturday. The event begins on the evening of March 17, with groups assembling to choose writers, directors and actors to create and bring to life brand-new short plays. Writers write through the night and deliver scripts to director and actor on March 18, where rehearsal stretches throughout the day. It all culminates in a performance of the new plays that evening at 7 p.m.. Admission to the performance is $15.
Registration to participate is $10. You can register to take part here. Any questions can be directed here.
