Lord Hall Gallery proudly presents Aldrich, Norton & Ross – a Concert of Experimental and Electronic Music. The performance will take place in Lord Hall Gallery alongside the exhibition Nina Elder: HOLD.
Aldrich, Norton & Ross is a trio of Maine-based musicians who perform experimental and electronic music. Featuring N.B.Aldrich (sound recordings), Steve Norton (sound recordings, electronics and reed instruments) and Leslie Ross (bassoon and electronics), AN&R have nearly 90 years of performance experience between them. Using extended instrumental techniques, electronic processing and field recordings, AN&R create improvised sound environments, a hybrid form of music and soundscape, that are rich in texture and subtle in their musicality.
