Ngo Vinh Long, Professor of History at UMaine from 1985 until his death in October 2022, was a courageous and influential antiwar and anti-imperialist activist scholar and scholar activist. He was often regarded as the most prominent antiwar Vietnamese in the United States during the Vietnam War. This program will leave time for faculty, students, friends, and family members to share memories and to celebrate the remarkable life and legacy of Ngo Vinh Long.
