Pioneering ecological artist Aviva Rahmani works to teach and inspire others about ecological restoration as artmaking. Rahmani exhibits, publishes and presents internationally, and her work has won numerous grants and fellowships. She earned her BFA and MFA at the California Institute of the Arts and her Ph.D. at the University of Plymouth, UK. She is an affiliate with the Institute for Arctic and Alpine Research at the University of Colorado, Boulder. Rahmani currently lives and works in Manhattan and Maine.
