The Life of Ideas, Notions, and Concepts

More than 50 works by Maine fiber artists will be featured in the exhibit “Every Fiber of My Being,” Feb. 9 through May 4 in the Fernald Gallery at the University of Maine Hutchinson Center. This film portrays the endeavors of a group of Iranian master musicians who are trying to locate, restore and record a repertoire of compositions attributed to Abd al-Qadir Maraghi, a prominent composer who lived six centuries ago and greatly influenced Middle Eastern classical music.
