This five-week beginner beekeeping course will introduce you to the honey bee colony, hive management and honey production, and is taught by a Master Beekeeper with over 10 years’ experience teaching beginner and advanced courses in southern Maine. The course takes place over five consecutive Thursdays, starting Feb. 13 and ending March 12.

Join University of Maine Cooperative Extension’s Jason Lilley for demonstrations and discussion on all aspects of making maple syrup — the sweetest gift of nature — in your own backyard.
