This 5-week beginner beekeeping course will introduce you to the honey bee colony, hive management and honey production, and is taught by a Master Beekeeper with over 10 years’ experience teaching beginner and advanced courses in southern Maine. Presented by Laurie Bowen In this hands-on, one night workshop, our partners from UMaine’s Cooperative Extension will teach you the basics of canning, including how to use a water bath canner to pickle. Fresh produce and canning jars will be provided. The course fee includes all materials for the evening.
