“Twelfth Night” by Shakespeare was first performed on February 2, 1602 and is one of the most famous and frequently performed of Shakespeare’s plays. As the story of a young woman who disguises herself as a man, resulting in complicated interactions with two local aristocrats, this play “upends conventions of romance and gender roles,” and demonstrates that “risk-taking female characters can win the respect of men around them.”

The show will be recorded in the Littlefield Gardens, attempting to maintain as much of the original intentions of this outdoor show as possible. It will be available from April 28 to May 9.
