The Engineering Job Fair provides an opportunity for UMaine engineering students and employers to meet and informally interview for potential jobs and internships.
The University of Maine Virtual Engineering Job Fair (EJF) will take place on Oct. 21 from 9 a.m.–3 p.m. The University of Maine Career Center and College of Engineering have partnered for 22 years to connect students with employers. This year’s virtual format is a platform provided by Symplicity, utilizing our CareerLink Career Management System, which may be accessed through the Career Center’s website at umaine.edu/career. There are 87 employers participating in this event with 79% of them looking for summer interns.

Students should prepare by updating their CareerLink profile, reading the Student Virtual Career Fair Day of Guide to the EJF, and identifying their target list of employers; all found on the Career Center website. Participating students will need to use their @maine.edu email. On the day of the EJF, contact the University of Maine Career Center with questions at: 207-581-1359, firstname.lastname@example.org, live chat feature at umaine.edu/career, or by visiting the zoom room within the EJF platform.
