UMaine MARINE invites the UMaine Community to a meet-and-greet on Jan. 17, from 3:30 – 5 p.m. at the Ferland EEDC Welcome Center to explore how you can participate. Research posters of ongoing work in marine-related efforts and UMaine MARINE opportunities will be shared.
The scope of expertise needed to create impactful projects that propel our understanding of the marine environment and its connection to the people of Maine forward is far-reaching. If your current research program is not centered in the more obvious marine-related disciplines, there are still many opportunities to collaborate — for example, marine projects require expertise in graphic design, computer technology, engineering, and many other fields to elevate current marine-related research efforts on campus.
