Tunnel of Oppression

March 27 @ 9:00 am - 4:00 pm

The Tunnel of Oppression is an immersive experience that encourages the community to step into the realities of groups that are oppressed, right on UMaine’s campus. Topics for this year are ableism, mental health, religion, transgender/non-binary, and Title IX. The last stop of the guided tour is the Room of Hope where representatives of the Counseling Center will host a discussion and decompress the event with the participants.

Part of the University of Maine’s Women’s History Month 2019 programming. Click here to view additional events.
