Violence Against Women is a Men’s Issue

Jackson Katz, educator, author and pioneering activist on issues of gender, race and violence, will highlight the impacts of toxic masculinity and offer viable strategies for intervening whenever and wherever biases are revealed. Co-founder of the Mentors in Violence Prevention program, Katz will discuss the bystander approach, which is widely used to prevent gender violence.

Presented in partnership with the Department of Athletics, the Rising Tide Center, the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences, the Honors College, the Division of Student Life, and the College of Engineering.

This event is free and open to the public on a first-come, first -served basis. Registration is not required.
