UMaine Extension and the Maine Board of Pesticides Control are pleased to offer a free tick and mosquito (Category 7E) webinar Tuesday, Nov. 9, and Wednesday, Nov. 10.

Ticks and mosquitoes bother everyone, and applications against these pests are more popular than ever. Make sure you know your target pests and manage them responsibly. Topics covered will include identification, biology, management, new research and relevant pesticide regulations.

Allison Gardner, Assistant Professor of Arthropod Vector Biology, University of Maine School of Biology and Ecology

This webinar is intended for commercial pesticide applicators certified in Category 7E. However, all applicators in need of credits are encouraged to attend and registration is open to everyone.

Attending both two-hour sessions earns four recertification credits.
