Women’s, Gender, and Sexuality Studies presents its Spring 2020 Colloquium Series, featuring talks by faculty from across the university.

Tuesday, Jan. 28 — Rebecca Buchanan (School of Learning and Teaching): “‘I Feel Like I’ve Had a Bag Over My Head’: New Teachers Explore Issues of Diversity, Power, and Justice”

Tuesday, Feb. 4 — Liliana Herakova (Communication and Journalism): “Narrative Pedagogies: On Ignorance, Stories, and (Not) Knowing”

Tuesday, March 3 — Micah Pawling (History): “A ‘Labyrinth of Uncertainties’: Penobscot River Islands, Land Assignments, and Indigenous Women Proprietors in Nineteenth-Century Maine”

Wednesday, April 8 — Caroline Bicks (English): “Brainwork and the Early Modern Girl”
