Revolutions & Empires: The Significance of the High-Waisted Gown, ca. 1800

A discussion with visiting scholar Ann Little, professor of history at Colorado State University, of a (soon-to-be) precirculated paper about the significance of the “high-waisted gown” in an era of revolution and empire, ca. 1800.

Co-sponsors are the Department of History, McGillicuddy Humanities Center, Canadian-American Center, Modern Languages and Classics, and Women’s, Gender, and Sexuality Studies.
