Rescheduled: 2019 Martin Luther King Jr. Breakfast Celebration

The 2019 Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Breakfast Celebration, co-sponsored by the Greater Bangor Area NAACP and the University of Maine Division of Student Life, will be held on March 2 at Wells Conference Center on campus.
The family-friendly event will celebrate the life and legacy of Dr. King’s service while offering inspiration through diversity and social commitment.
Doors will open at 8 a.m., and the program will run from 8:30–10:30 a.m. The celebration will feature food, music, a peace writing prize recognition, and a keynote address by Amy Sneirson, executive director of Maine Human Rights Commission.
Tickets are $20 ($15 for children ages 12 and under, and free for undergraduate UMaine students with a valid MaineCard), and are available online.
