Regulatory Considerations for Swine (Old Town)

This event will include a presentation by Dr. Colt Knight, livestock specialist, on the basics of keeping pigs and pasturing pigs. This program is for people who are planning to raise feeder piglets or breed sows of their own. This will be followed by a presentation by Dr. Carolyn Hurwitz, ME DACF, on regulatory considerations for swine including interstate movement regulations, feral swine and carcass inspection.
