Race, Trauma and Social Discourse: Conversations in the Community (and on Social Media)

Members of the UMaine community are invited to attend a discussion on the clashing intersections between racial bias, historical trauma, and social (media) discourse.

A diverse panel of educators, attorneys, social justice advocates and students will discuss the disturbing trend of violent and divisive public discourse prompted by social media reporting.
