Growing Microgreens 101 (Falmouth)

January 12 @ 1:00 pm - 2:30 pm

| $10

Join Cooperative Extension for a hands-on microgreen workshop. Microgreens are herb, flower, or vegetable greens grown densely in trays and harvested just after they’ve put on their first true leaves (about 1–3”). These tiny greens are packed with nutrients, color, and flavor, which is why they are popular among fine dining chefs as a garnish. They are easy to grow indoors and can take as little as seven days or up to 28 days before they are ready to harvest. In this workshop, participants will learn about the optimal growing conditions necessary for producing high-quality microgreens indoors as well as the variety of seeds available and their flavor profiles.
