Farm work can be dangerous, but a University of Maine Cooperative Extension tractor safety course will help reduce risks to Maine farmers and farm workers. Individuals will receive practical training in the classroom, in the shop and on tractors.

Classes will begin on April 11 and continue on successive Tuesdays through May 2. A written exam and tractor driving test will be held Saturday, May 9 at 9 a.m. at Ingraham’s Equipment in Knox.

Cost: $15–$25.
