Exploring Wabanaki Maine History

October 10, 2019 @ 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm

“Exploring Wabanaki Maine History” is an interactive storytelling experience. We will learn about events in the history of the relationship between Wabanaki people (the Indigenous people of Maine) and Europeans and their descendants. The goal of this participatory program is to increase our understanding of colonization.

The program is presented by Maine-Wabanaki REACH, a cross-cultural collaborative of people working in Wabanaki and Maine communities to support truth, healing and decolonization.

Space is limited; email Cara Doiron (cara.doiron@maine.edu) to RSVP.
