A closing artists’ reception and gallery talk for Lord Hall Gallery’s summer exhibitions.
“touch my human” features works by Giles Timms, a UMaine assistant professor of art.
“The Painter and her skeleton” features works by Irene Hardwicke Olivieri, an artist currently living in Seal Cove, Maine.
Timms and Hardwicke Olivieri will speak about specific pieces included in the exhibitions, and the foundational concepts and processes of their creative practices.
The reception is free and open to the public. Lord Hall Gallery is open from 9 a.m.–4 p.m. Monday through Friday, and is wheelchair accessible.
