Victoria Hood, who earned her MA in English at the University of Maine in 2020, is celebrating the release of her first book. “My Haunted Home: Stories” is an exploration of death and grief through the surreal and horrific. The book was Hood’s MA thesis and is the winner of the FC2’s Ronald Sukenick Innovative Fiction Prize.
There will be a book release party on October 4 from 5–6:30 p.m. at Bangor Beer Company in Bangor. This event is free and open to the public.
