This class is intended to teach beekeepers to be more sustainable through the production and use of nucleus colonies and backyard queen production. Students will learn how to produce and manage nucs for increase and hedging against winter loss and how to rear queens from their own hives. Topics will include equipment, management, overwintering and more.

This course is for five consecutive Tuesdays, starting March 21 and ending April 4, 2017.
