Throughout this course students will learn husbandry needs and systems requirements of a diverse group of organisms (i.e. finfish, shellfish and lobsters) important to Maine’s aquaculture industry. Students will also gain hands-on experience with a wide range of equipment, systems, and daily care used to culture these organisms for the seafood industry as well as research applications. This course runs for five consecutive days, May 10–14, 8 a.m.–4:30 p.m.
