DESCRIPTION:Brian Fagan is one of the best known authors of books on archaeology and climate change.  He is the author or editor of 46 books\, including 7 college texts on archaeology that are standards for the field.  He has also served as a consultant for the National Geographic Society and was writer/developer for Where in the World is Carmen San Diego on Public Television. His lecture will draw on a suite of books that he has authored on Climate Change:  The Little Ice Age (2000); The Long Summer (2003); The Great Warming (2009); The Compete Ice Age (2009); and Elixir (2011).  Please join us at the Collins Center for this engaging public event.
